Such dogs lack proper socialization and training. They tend to be difficult to housetrain and control in future. Their parents are not usually checked for hereditary disorders, so these dogs often develop hereditary disorders, such as hip dysplasia, heart problems and many others. Animals from pet stores more often end in shelters than those bought from reliable sources.

Responsible breeders are interested in educating a potential buyer. They care for what families their purebred pups will go to. Reputable breeders never mate two dogs if they cannot take the responsibility for all the puppies in a litter. They breed for the betterment of the breed, and not make easy money.
